Our territory covers the area of 10 communities of 9 villages and one small town, aprox. 1000 square km.
Our NGO is made up of 34 members from the public and private sector and also from the civil society: 10 public administrations, 21 businesses and 3 civil society members.
Our LAG uses a “bottom-up” approach in order to contribute to the social-economical development of its territory. Its main priorities are tourism development and basic services for the local entrepreneurs’. We are specially focused on the traditional and local art-craft research and ways of supporting locals to finance their projects, to promote and build from their products a business from which they can make a living.
We support through our strategy the writing and financing of international and local cooperation projects as we think it brings a bonus to our objectives and for our partners, our administrations and entrepreneurs. It is a good way of growing and learning from each other and it brings perspective for future projects and ideas.
We have several partnerships for international cooperation projects with LAGs from Finland, Greece, Moldavia, Bulgaria, France, Turkey.
